Classified Set to Release New EP “Tomorrow Could Be…”

Following the unveiling of the video for “She Ain’t Gotta Do Much” (below), JUNO Award winning, multi-platinum Canadian hip-hop artist and producer, Classified, is set to release his new EP, “Tomorrow Could Be…” on Friday, June 29th.

The cinematic video for “She Ain’t Gotta Do Much”,  the newest track off his forthcoming EP, was filmed in Toronto and directed by Jacqueline Andrade.

“She Ain’t Gotta Do Much” pays homage to, advocates for and simply celebrates female empowerment, and earlier music videos have been released for the EP tracks “Powerless” and “Changes” .

The EP is available to pre-order now via iTunes.

UPDATE: As the EP release date arrived, Classified also released a video for the single “Fallen”

Shot in Toronto by Jacqueline Andrade the video for “Fallen” focuses on the daily struggle of moving through life at such a fast pace that we find ourselves drowning.

The visual focuses on many of the songs key themes including frustration, communication, day to day survival and moving swiftly through life while trying to keep your head above water.

“This is my joint,” shares Classified.  “For me this was the easiest song to make on the album.  I wrote the verse from the point of observation – marveling at what’s going on in the world and how
we as society act and react to it.  I love the feel of this song – it takes me back to some Slum Village, Tribe Called Quest vibes.”


Classified is throwing a fan club exclusive event in Toronto on June 28th – which sold out in less than 24 hours. – in celebration of “Tomorrow Could Be…” and to  honour the rapper’s dedicated fan base known as the Halflifers,

The performers self-titled 2013 release is certified 2x Platinum and debuted #1 on the Canadian Nielsen Soundscan Chart with over 1 million singles sold. The album went on to have two Top 10 singles including the 4x Platinum “Inner Ninja” featuring David Myles and the Platinum certified “3 Foot Tall”.

The multiple JUNO Award winner was also a host at the 2014 JUNO Awards and has received 24 nominations and 8 wins between the MuchMusic Video Awards, JUNO Awards, and East Coast Music Awards.
