The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and Nielsen announced on Tuesday that Nielsen Music will be the exclusive data provider for the JUNO Awards, Canada’s biggest night for music.
The 2017 JUNO Awards begin on April 1 in Ottawa with the JUNO Gala Dinner & Awards and then held on April 2 in the city’s Canadian Tire Centre.
The event will be broadcast on CTV and include a variety of musical performances by artists that include Shawn Mendes. CARAS will assist in selecting this year’s JUNO nominees, utilizing Nielsen’s authoritative music data and insights.
