MOSKALUKE IS THE FIRST CANADIAN FEMALE ARTIST TO HAVE A SONG IN THE TOP 5 SINCE TERRI CLARK REACHED #1 IN 2008

2017 JUNO Award winner and platinum-selling country artist Jess Moskaluke reached a major milestone in her career this month when her current hit single “Drive Me Away” (video below) landed in the Top 3 at Canadian country radio.

That makes her the first Canadian female to crack the Top 5 in nearly a decade – the last time being 2008 when Terri Clark’s single “In My Next Life” hit #1. In the spirit of shattering glass ceilings, Moskaluke also achieved platinum-selling status for her smash hit “Cheap Wine and Cigarettes” – the only Canadian female country artist to do so since Shania Twain.

Crowned the 2017 JUNO Award winner for Country Album of the Year, Moskaluke is also the three-time consecutive Canadian Country Music Association “Female Artist of the Year”, and was most recently presented with five SCMA Awards including “Fan’s Choice Entertainer of the Year”.

She also capped off 2016 as the most played female Canadian artist at radio, and with a new album in the works for later this year, it is apparent that all eyes will remain on Canada’s reigning queen of country as she continues to make waves through 2017 and beyond.

Set to hit the road this summer for a slew of festival dates, Moskaluke will also join Country music stars Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi and more for the Coors Banquet One Horse Town event, which brings superstar acts to a small-town stage in a nationwide competition.

Fans can also see her this summer as she joins country heavyweights Keith Urban, Luke Bryan and Brantley Gilbert on the mainstage at Canada’s largest camping and country music festival, Boots and Hearts (August 13th).
