S.T.A.T. Medical Devices LLC has developed a tourniquet system that can treat upwards of 10 casualties in 60 seconds by untrained civilians during unexpected multicasualty incidents (MCI). A device especially important With the increase of Mass Casualty Incidents and Active Shooter situations rising around the world.

The primary objective of the S.T.A.T. Medical Devices is to develop live saving medical equipment that are simple and intuitive to use by a lay person. This enabled members of the public to be more prepared and effective in case of a Mass Casualty Incident while lowering the fatality rate of preventable deaths.

S.T.A.T. Tourniquet feature a self-counting timer and can be used on limbs as small as 20mm – suitable for adults, children, and even dogs.

With just a 5 second application time, first responders are able to treat as many as 10 or 12 casualties within one minute.

The company says its tourniquet device more unique then some of its competitors as it can be preloaded onto a carabiner and secured almost anywhere.

“S.T.A.T. offers 25 and 50 preloaded tourniquets on every carabiner so First Responders can grab and go into a hasty situation and have to treat more than 500 victims, something that has never really been seen until recently, on or off the battlefield,” said S.T.A.T. Medical Devices’ Michael Diminoof.

S.T.A.T. Medical Devices manufactures and assembles Public Access kits that can be used in shopping malls, airports, public venues, corporate offices, and school systems.
